Los organizadores del Download Festival han anunciado que no se realizará este año el festival por las restricciones a nivel mundial pero han presentado una nueva edición y este año la celebración será vía streaming.
El evento ha sido nombrado Download TV 2020 será una versión online del evento original y ofrecerá a través de su canal en YouTube de conciertos históricos que han pasado por anteriores ediciones del Download, entrevistas y alguna sorpresa extra.

Download Festival TV 2020 se transmitirá el 12 y el 14 de junio a través del canal de YouTube del festival de rock y metal.
